EEG

An EEG is a test that measures and records the electrical activity of the brain.  Electrodes (special sensors) are placed on the child’s scalp and hooked by wires to a computer, which records the electrical activity.   Certain conditions, such as seizures, can be seen by the changes in the normal pattern of the brain’s electrical activity.

We offer comprehensive outpatient EEG services with a full-time Registered EEG Technologist performing routine EEGs for pediatric patients, Ambulatory EEGs (24-72 hours) and outpatient Video EEGs.
