Chaouki Khoury, MD, brings over a decade of experience in neurology and headache medicine to PANDA Neurology & Atlanta Headache Specialists serving patients in and around metro Atlanta.
Dr. Khoury began his professional education at The American University of Beirut in Beirut, Lebanon. He graduated summa cum laude, then completed a combined masters in neuroscience and earned his Doctor of Medicine degree.
Following graduation, Dr. Khoury relocated to the United States and completed a neurology residency at The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City. After finishing his residency, Dr. Khoury moved to Texas and participated in a fellowship in child neurology at Texas Children’s Hospital/Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.
After completing his fellowship, Dr. Khoury returned to Oklahoma and was the residency program director. He then moved to Texas and served as the medical students’ neurology clerkship director, headache fellowship director and director of the comprehensive headache institute at Baylor, before joining Texas Neurology and serving as the associate director of their Comprehensive Headache Institute in Dallas. There, he focused on clinical research and advanced therapies for the treatment of patients with acute and chronic headaches. Dr. Khoury is currently an adjunct clinical professor at Morehouse School of Medicine.
