Robert J. Flamini, MD

Dr. Flamini’s expertise in epilepsy is supported by a Fellowship in Epilepsy and Clinical Neurophysiology at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). After directing the Children’s Epilepsy Center at CHOA for over 15y, where he brought advances in diagnostic and treatment strategies, Dr. Flamini moved his practice with emphasis in Clinical Epilepsy to PANDA Neurology in 2012. 

His main interest resides in the management of epilepsy syndromes, genetic epilepsies and drug resistant epilepsies. Along with this, Dr. Flamini has participated in multiple clinical trials for new antiseizure medications, and currently directs the research branch of the practice, CIRCA, where clinical research trials in epilepsy are being conducted. 

He is a Fellow of the American Epilepsy Society, and has been named Top Doctor in Atlanta sequentially since 2016.
